Weapon mods are neat but I honestly found half of them not all that interesting.

Like the Praeton soldier's upgrade points seem to just improve stuff that should be defaultly done like faster climbing and weapon/mod switching for example. Though at times it can feel like it affects the pacing, but IMO this is a minor negative.ДЄnother weak element I have with the game is its upgrade system being too.basic.

Now Doom (2016) has its flaws game could've been a little shorter, it tends to start rather slow as the basic pistol and generic military shotgun seem to be there to ease the player into getting the hang of the flow of the game, but once you reach the foundry and get a few more weapons, yeah that's when it starts improving IMO. Now not all would be like this game, but hey if the game has awesome shotguns count me in. Granted I may have played maybe a handful of FPS, going by my memory, but after Doom (2016), I wanted to give the genre a shot.

The fast movement, the high speed combat and impactful firearms, as someone who wasn't all into FPS games, this game changed all that.
